A natural optimist,who doesn''t mind doing daft things sometimes e.g. when I had to run round Manchester''s streets on my own to catch up with my ''wave'' (the last one) in the Great Run there last year - how I got in that pickle is a long story which was only funny on the first telling! The only reason I made myself conspicuous was because of the sponsor money I raised and the only time I was more embarrassed was when I turned up at a party in a Laura Ashley dress to discover it was a punk rock do. All I could do was pogo! From this preamble you will gather that I stick at things,try to keep fit but am no athlete, like a party/bop and don''t rate bin liners as a fashion look.I appear to be an outgoing, sociable person, and would rarely be classed as shy, but to be this way I need my own space sometimes. I am independent but don''t mind being ''looked after'' occasionally. I like to be outdoors when it is sunny - the ironing can always wait! I often have my nose in a book but find time to run and swim - and hopefully will cycle soon when I have fixed my bike! I would love to do more travelling and being able to go to Paris for the day is one of the best treats that I have had this year.Finally, I hate to stick to routine - sometimes you just need to do something different and/or silly!
