When I was growing up I really believed in Fairy Tales and most of all Prince Charming. However, having grown up (a little,) I realise this does not exist, and often shed a tear at the happy endings in soppy kids films, much to the greater amusement of those in my company at the time. Anyhow, I now chose to believe that the real Prince Charming is an ordinary man who feels that when the glass slipper falls off he has no need of a beautiful princess, but rather a lovely "real" woman who looks great in her fluffy slippers cuddled up to him on the sofa. I still buy impulse in the hope that a good looking man will chase after me with a bunch of flowers (in 20 odd years this has yet to happen, but I refuse to believe that romance is dead!! I am a single professional with a busy work/family life who appreciates her independence and free time. I believe life is for living and having a little fun can make life easier. Sometimes the one person you have had a little fun with , shared laughs with, can become a really good friend, or hopefully more.... I suppose I still believe in Fairy Tales after all..

A special walk for me would be along a coastal path in North Cornwall when the sea is rough, watching the waves spectacularly crashing over the rocks. I like eating out in nice restaurants, and enjoy most food. I have a wide taste in music ranging from rock/pop to classical. I would like to start going to more concerts and the theatre again. Alternatively in the Winter a quiet night in cuddling in front of the fire, and watching a good film would be nice. I am genuinely looking for a serious relationship.
