I have been overseas for 12 years so don''t know an awful lot of people around where I live. I have just bought a house in Widnes and I think it''s about time that I started getting to know people in my area. I''m very liberal and easy going, up for anything, fiercely loyal and honest, if not too honest, independent, adventurous, love running, history, cricket, music and movies and if you can believe it - studying! I''m not a beach babe but no chubba either, don''t go for men with money particularly, would prefer someone with ambition rather than a fat wallet (although I don''t turn away millionaires :-), not very girly but certainly not a boy girl. I am a tall average looking gentleman newish to the Dating Game. Honest, Smart, Funny and Caring - so I am told. I like to dance - imagine John Travolta meets Lee Evans and you get the picture.... The Good Bits are: All me own Black Curly Hair, Blue Eyes, 6ft 2 and fairly fit - never smoked. The Bad Bits are: A little shy from time to time. Outgoing when I know the person and feel comfortable..... I am hoping for a long term relationship, but at the moment I am looking for a few laughs, and a couple of good night''s out. But... it would be great if there was a "spark" and it turned into something serious...... I love Movies and Music, so the flicks and gigs are good. I play Guitar and enjoy that very much. Favourite Films are Alien, Se7en, Blue Velvet, Gladiator, Toy Story, Millers Crossing. No chick flicks there, but I do like some foreign "arthouse" stuff, so it can slow and meaningful, and not all grim and despressing.... Comedy Films would be: Something About Mary, The Producers, Airplane and Nacho Libre. Sci-Fi Films would be: Blade Runner, 5th Element, Serenity and Cypher. Favourite Directors are David Lynch, David Fincher, Ridley Scott and Coen Brothers. Favourite Album is Live and Dangerous by Thin Lizzy, but I like all sorts - mainly Guitar Based Rock, but hate Reggea.... (go figure). I am not very sporty, but keep myself fit. My proudest moment was the birth of my Son, and he is a fine young man - a great friend to a lot of mates.
